ABC News Digital is an ambitious, mission-oriented team of journalists, technologists, and business specialists growing the marquee news brands within The Walt Disney Company. Reaching hundreds of millions of news consumers each month, the digital group oversees multi-platform experiences for ABC News, FiveThirtyEight, and Good Morning America, including the streaming news channel ABC News Live and VOD content on Hulu. The business operations team is responsible for the strategic planning and ongoing operations of the ABC News Digital businesses.
Contribute to a website and app redesign by driving alignment on business objectives, building/implementing a direct-to-consumer strategy, tracking development progress, measuring impact
Support the distribution/monetization of ABC News Live by measuring effectiveness and streamlining workflow with internal and external partners
Facilitate audience linkages with Disney’s direct-to-consumer businesses by developing/implementing an SVOD acquisition and retention strategy and optimizing promotional inventory
Partner on the expansion of programmatic advertising by implementing strategy with functional partners, tracking progress, and measuring impact
What you bring to the role…

Program Management with significant strategic planning familiarity through prior internship/work or school experience
Ability to work with cross functional partners to influence change
Currently enrolled in an MBA program; on track to graduate by summer 2022 OR must have graduated from an MBA program within 18 months
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program concurrent to this internship
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2021 through August 2021
Candidate must be available to work full time hours for the duration of the internship
