Please e-mail samples or a link to a portfolio website to Jessica.L.Eastburn@christianacare.org with the e-mail Subject Line reading "Digital Design Samples" PRIMARY FUNCTION: With an emphasis on digital design, this position will support systemwide creative, digital, marketing and communications efforts through graphic, interactive, website and multimedia design. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Sit in on conceptual design meetings and consult on design solutions.
- Translate concepts into finished designs which convey appropriate brand voice and accurate messaging to achieve project goals.
- Advise on best practices and optimizations throughout design projects, including selecting colors, font, images, and layout.
- Design duties include websites, graphics, e-mail, presentations and print materials as needed.
- Develops and implements production plans to meet goals and objectives.
- Maintain and update catalog of existing projects.
- Partners with consultants, application vendors, out-of-house designers, photographers, and audio and video producers.
- Coordinates work with colleagues within the department and throughout ChristianaCare, securing appropriate input, reviews, and approvals.
- Adheres to pre-established deadlines and project budgets and secures competitive bids when appropriate.
- Provides regular progress reports to supervisor.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices. Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital design, or art preferred. Three to five years of experience as a graphic designer is necessary. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: - Proven working experience in digital and graphic design.
- Top-notch design skills and in-depth knowledge of modern techniques.

- Expertise in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Expertise in website and e-mail design.

- The ability and desire to stay up-to-date with design trends and implement into daily operations when appropriate.
- Photography and videography experience a plus.
- An understanding of digital marketing.
- Experience in using established brand standards.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Skill in interpersonal relations including listening to others.
- Ability to coordinate common production methods.
- Ability to supervise out-of-house consultants.
- Ability to act as a member of a team with colleagues.
