Education Week is looking for an experienced journalist dedicated to covering public education and the leaders who shape it daily. The successful applicant has a strong interest in reporting on school district leadership, is inquisitive and enterprising, and has a track record of high productivity and of quickly building a robust network of sources. The reporter must be able to juggle a mix of longer national trend pieces with daily stories, quick-turnaround pieces based on news developments, case studies of successful practice, and solutions-oriented coverage relevant to and useful for superintendents and other education leaders. We want a creative thinker who welcomes the opportunity to shape special reports, newsletters, and other products aimed at the superintendent and educa
