River City Newspapers serves readers in Northwest Arizona, with daily newspapers in Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City as well as publications in Kingman, Parker, Wickenburg, Needles, Calif., and Laughlin, Nevada.
The Today’s News-Herald in Lake Havasu City is Arizona’s third-largest daily newspaper and operates the largest news website in Northwest Arizona. Lake Havasu City is a popular destination for spring breakers and power boating fans, and it’s home to thousands of winter visitors from the Midwest and Canada, along with a population of about 57,000 full-time residents. We’re at the center of the debate over Colorado River water policy. The region is one of the top destinations for boating, fishing, offroading and other recreational activities in Arizona and Southern California. All of that means there are a lot of stories to be told here.
This in-person position reports to the managing editor and works closely with the entire newsroom. It is full-time with benefits, including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation time and 401k retirement options.
