Create and implement graphic design campaigns using independent judgement and a creative skillset that enhances the UTA Athletics’ brand.
- The Graphic Designer will produce graphic designs with a primary focus on supporting creative concepts to enhance marketing plans, the fan experience, and increasing revenue generation. - This role is responsible for creating an inspirational visual identity for UTA Athletics with the purpose of maximizing brand engagement; while utilizing creative assets and content digital platforms (i.e., social media, email campaigns, e-commerce, website, facility digital assets, advertising avenues, video enhancement and mobile applications). The design brief, research, concept development, design review, iteration, and implementation will all be independently managed. - Assist with the conception to completion process of overall themes and designs of each season’s athletic team posters, marketing collateral as well as departmental marketing, strategic communications and creative collateral needed. - Generate effective campaigns using design abilities with a strong understanding of layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media - Review all materials for quality control of brand specifications and proofreading to maintain consistent style, themes, and marketing strategies of the department. - Ensure that all materials adhere to brand identity and guidelines of UTA Athletics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three (1-3 years) of related experience in graphic design.
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom and Photoshop (Mac format).
Strong organizational, management and leadership skills.
