Complete projects by coordinating with outside vendors including printers, agencies, photographers etc. Willingness to stay current with design trends and specs for social media and other emerging applications Act as a brand advocate, ensuring all products reflect the Shorecrest brand character and meet established brand standards Advise Marketing & Communications department on acquisition of videography, photography and design equipment, including software Organizes and manages storage system for graphic files, including logos, photography, videos and art Maintains the organizational style and usage guide Keep abreast of new developments and technology in the multimedia field Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing team   Qualifications   Two (2) years of college-level training in graphic design, photography, videography, or related field. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.  Two (2) years professional experience in graphic design or related field.  Experience working with brand standards, designing digital materials for print, video and web materials for marketing campaigns. Design Skills: Generate creative solutions; translate concepts and information into images; use feedback to modify designs; apply design principles; demonstrate attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to use various software on Mac OS X: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Google Drive, and video creation/editing. Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Experience with Quark a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with school representatives, parents, students, alumni, donors and representatives from the business community. Professional experience in an academic environment preferred.  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Previous experience with web design and content management administration will help bolster this person’s contributions to the team - bringing new ideas and examples of what other groups are doing successfully. Experience with WordPress a plus. Experience with Mailchimp and Canva a plus. Able to use basic office equipment Committed to inclusion and issues of social justice and equity   Physical Requirements and Work Environment   Works in a very involved and busy environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts Generally works in standard office conditions and climate.
