The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the national not-for-profit association established in 1863 and representing over 99,500 veterinarians working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia and uniformed services, is seeking a News Reporter to join our Marketing and Communications team at our Headquarters office in Schaumburg, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Reporting to the Senior News Editor, the News Reporter is responsible for writing articles and other content on veterinary and animal-related news of interest to AVMA members, the veterinary profession, and other stakeholders for publication in AVMA’s print and electronic media.
