This position is responsible for a variety of editorial tasks producing specific segments with program hosts, writing for digital platforms in support of the production of WBUR programs. The Associate Producer writes stories for local newscasts, monitors various sources to gather news, conducts interviews by phone and in-person to generate news stories for broadcast, and produces newscasts. The Associate Producer is responsible for producing and overseeing the use of a production studio for recording, researching and arranging program elements while providing editorial and technical support to the Executive Producer.
