Reporting to the Executive Editor, the Deputy Editor is responsible for supervising the creation of high-quality content for all Ideastream Public Media platforms. This position will guide, support and advance content creation with an emphasis on elevating innovation, presentation to and resonance with audiences. This position will be responsible for the direction and management, along with one other Deputy Editor, of news team members covering specific beats in Northeast Ohio. The Deputy Editor will be a motivator and collaborator whose mission is to help content creators do their best work. The Deputy Editor will collaborate across departments and work with managers to ensure comprehensive coverage needs are met for the entire region. The Deputy Editor will write and edit copy followi
