The Role: This role sits within the Platts global news team and involves multimedia production, online curation, digital content enhancement, search optimization and social media, as well as content strategy. As Americas digital content editor, you will work closely with counterparts in EMEA and APAC, as well as with global pricing editors and analytics teams, in a fast-paced environment. You will help to drive growth of our digital platforms with smart use of SEO and social media and play a key role in delivering our podcast and video series.
The Impact: Ensure the timely publication of Platts' content online. Drive audience growth through the application of SEO and use of social media platforms to promote Platts' content. Innovate in digital delivery and presentation to provide a rich experience for our audience.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,900 to $116,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
Publish stories, podcasts, video and interactive content on various online platforms.
Contribute to planning, scripting, recording podcasts and video; edit podcasts.
Ensure all content is optimized for the web and SEO.
Work closely with marketing to ensure initiatives are aligned and support business priorities.
Analyze content performance and use data to drive strategy.
Grow online audience with smart use of social media.
Maximize the display of graphics and interactive content on the web.
Work with management to deliver a digital strategy for S&P Global Platts.
Help to train other team members in digital skills and best practice.
Very strong digital media skills, including SEO analytics, web curation, headline writing and social media best practice.
Demonstrable interest in commodities and understanding of basic workings of commodity markets
Comfortable with data and interested in data visualization - data underpins the majority of S&P Global Platts content.
Strong communication skills
Enthusiasm for continuous professional development in digital media skills
3-4 years' experience in news website curation
Podcast production and editing skills
Experience with Google Analytics and social/digital media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Libsyn and Vidyard would be an advantage
