Position Summary
The News Reporter and Content Producer serve as WUCX-FM on-air production/talent, news anchor and provide technical assistance in the production needs of WUCX-FM radio. This involves the daily production of station audio needs, such as news writing, interviews, promotional announcements, public service announcements, underwriter announcements, day sponsor announcements and other audio products. The News Reporter and Content Producer will assist the local community host/producers and will generate web pages and update Internet resources as needed. This position will assist in the creation of the monthly newsletter through story and article writing. This position is a key member of all fundraising pledge drives and may also represent the radio station at various community events. This individual will also participate in Delta College Public Media local production activities as available and assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
FM Broadcast Operations:
FM Broadcast Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Delta College Public Radio.
- Monitor broadcast quality of all local audio productions from local producers, students, and faculty.
- Acquire and record national and regional radio programming assets from multiple programming sources.
- Coordinate automated broadcast schedules to deliver programming seven days a week.
On-Air Talent and Production:
